The New Tampa Tigers are in their first year as part of the Foundation for Youth Development/Greater
Tampa Bay Pop Warner. Endorsed by the NFL, Pop Warner is the nationally recognized youth football program
in the United States, and the only youth sports program that emphasizes education. Our New Tampa Tigers’
football and cheerleading programs combine the teaching of athletic and game fundamentals with an emphasis
on education and academic excellence, self-discipline, moral values and social skills.
The Tigers are the result of two former New Tampa Football and Cheer coming together as one.
Formerly, the New Tampa Patriots and the New Tampa Sharks, the Tigers will be over four hundred participants
strong this season. For our 2011 season, we have one flag football team, fifteen tackle football teams,
and five cheerleading teams.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the New Tampa Tigers rely on sponsorship, fundraising and volunteers
to support our program. All donations help pay for our youth. Costs to run the organization include, but are
not limited to: football and cheerleading equipment and uniforms, equipment upgrades and maintenance,
insurance costs, field usage, league registration fees, referee fees, etc.
Once we receive the automated email notifying us of your donation, we will contact you for information
about you and / or your organization for our sponsorship list.
